I'm Zoraah! Or Zoraahsalt, or Zoraah C. Salt... depends on the platform and what names are already taken. I would say that i'm primarily a digital artist, but more recently I've been becoming somewhat of a VGM musician as well as kind of a solo game dev, so I've been trying out a lot more than just art.Speaking of which, my main project at the moment is an RPGMaker MZ game called RIFT! It was originally supposed to be a """small""" precursor to another project that I'd consider my dream game, but due to a bit of underestimation and overambition it's starting to become more of a full thing. If you want a deeper look into it, check the RIFT tab at the bottom! If you'd like to reach out to me for anything, shoot me a message on one of my socials below, or add me on Discord if you'd like to talk there instead! (My name there is just 'zoraah')

While I have plenty of other work, sketches, and more across my socials, this is my collection of fully rendered/painted pieces that I've been the most proud of. Think of it as a little gallery that I feel best represents my journey as an artist!(Last updated - 1.28.26)

RIFT is a story-based RPG Maker MZ game I've been creating in order to both build on my creative skills and to establish a world that I hope could positively influence someone someday—even if it might take a while to get it out there.

It's a traditional(?) RPGMaker game centered around two childhood friends, their odd encounter with the afterlife leaking into the overworld, and the fear of moving on. After taking a detour for a little urban exploration on their way home from school, Pierce and Emile meet Cadaver, a spirit from beyond who—in an attempt to cross the gap between worlds—accidentally tore a rift through the vast limbo-like space between them. As it would turn out, he could really use your help to re-banish any and all wayward spirits and subsequently the Rift itself... so for their own individual reasons, Pierce and Emile agree and sneak out later that evening to begin their adventure. However, as time passes and stakes rise, Pierce's will begins to change... and a facade begins to slip.

While I do have most of the story/timeline at least vaguely planned out, I've been focusing pretty much entirely on introductory scenes/gameplay and the first major area, the Ethereal Overlook. This is because I want to release a demo consisting of those two parts by the end of this year (2026)! Hopefully the rest wouldn't follow too long after, but the plan is pretty much this:Intro/Prologue/
v
Major Area 1 (Ethereal Overlook - 1 miniboss, 1 main boss, 1-2 optional bosses)
v
--DEMO CUTOFF--
v
Major Area 2 (__________ _____ - Similar boss count to Overlook)
v
Major Area 3 (____ __ ________ - 1 main boss, most likely at least 1 optional boss)
V
Minor Area 1 (___ _______ - 1 main boss)
V
Minor Area 2 (____ _______ - Possibly a few minibosses, most likely at least 1 optional boss)
V
Final Boss Fight/Ending/Maybe something more...?
Of course any of this can (and most likely will) change... but the demo is seeming like somewhere between 1/4 and 1/3 of the full thing? Although, if I work at the same rate that would mean a full release date around nearly 2030... but... I'll get there!! Trust me!! Hopefully I'll really get into the swing of things and be able to shave that time down. As for the meantime, here's a look at what I've got so far:
